You know, I really cant remember the last time I pro-actively deleted a user account on a website that I had actually registered myself for.  Yeah, I've unsubscribed from emails, but not entire accounts.

Today was the first time, I think.

I got rid of Plaxo, the address book/ contact management website.  I got rid of it because when smart phones werent around, and google didn't manage my address book well, and when facebook didn't exist..it was the best way to manage your address book online.

But none of those things are true anymore, and I just dont see any value that Plaxo is providing, better than any of the other options.  Sorry Plaxo... I dont know who you are anymore.  You tried to have a calendar, you tried to do address books, you tried to do friends newsfeeds... really, you've tried everything since I was an original Beta user of your service.  But You havent innovated or been out front of a single thing since your original inception as an online address book which syncs with other users.  After you got that feature down.. you haven't been really successful or blazed your own path... that is why your useless now.  Sorry, and good-bye.  It was nice knowing you.
